But I digress (I know, you’re used to that), because today I really want to challenge the idea that the majority of women over 55 are often unable to do anything, say anything, get dressed in the morning or even cook breakfast, without having to compare themselves to someone else.
Is there really anybody who thinks women’s pants or trousers, even jeans are age inappropriate for women of any age? I don’t think so!
There have been a couple of occasions in my life when I have been what I consider to be fat and have gone on a Did-I-Eat-That? diet. The three diets I have included here are, in my opinion, amongst the best.

We hear so much about dressing your age and dressing age appropriately, often from people who look 12, you really have to wonder who made the decision that women over 50 (and then some), must follow silly ‘rules’? Why? Are we really unable to make our own decisions about how we look? Have we lost our Mojo?
I’m going to get the ball rolling on this one very quickly by saying there is no such thing as male menopause. But we girls will let our men have an Andropause … there’ll be no drama on this.
Well, this was written before Covid-19 and Brexit. How the world has changed in just a matter of months We are yet to see an end to Covid and the self-isolation, testing, vaccinations and every other thing associated with it. The one thing we know for certain is that we’re not going anywhere for a while. Travel per se is on the backburner!
