I’m wondering if the title of this little blog seems patronising, sexist, and the type of thing a woman of 50 (and then some), would not look for! It does to me but I suppose there are many many girls who need to feel useful. Again.
We hear so much about dressing your age and dressing age appropriately, often from people who look 12, you really have to wonder who made the decision that women over 50 (and then some), must follow silly ‘rules’? Why? Are we really unable to make our own decisions about how we look? Have we lost our Mojo?
I’m going to get the ball rolling on this one very quickly by saying there is no such thing as male menopause. But we girls will let our men have an Andropause … there’ll be no drama on this.
Well, this was written before Covid-19 and Brexit. How the world has changed in just a matter of months We are yet to see an end to Covid and the self-isolation, testing, vaccinations and every other thing associated with it. I was blessed with a mother who could take a scarf and a couple of cheap bangles and turn an inexpensive outfit into a fashion statement.
